QUESTION ONE: HOW DOES OUR NARRATIVE USE, DEVELOP OR CHALLENGE FORMS AND CONVENTIONS OF REAL MEDIA PRODUCTS?
HOW DOES THE SETTING/LOCATIONS USED IN OUR PRODUCTION USE, DEVELOP OR CHALLENGE FORMS AND CONVENTIONS OF REAL MEDIA PRODUCTS?
HOW DO THE TITLES USED IN THE PRODUCTION USE, DEVELOP OR CHALLENGE FORMS AND CONVENTIONS OF REAL MEDIA PRODUCTS?
We realised that the main purpose of the titles in a production is to inform the audience on particular information, however to develop our title sequence further we used this idea and made the sequence more interesting and fitting to our genre to appeal more to our target audience. Our initial research into title fonts and sequences helped a significant amount in doing so.

QUESTION THREE: WHAT KIND OF MEDIA INSTITUTION WOULD DISTRIBUTE YOUR MEDIA PRODUCT AND WHY?
We created two production company names for the producer and the distributor, we did this in the construction stage in order to fit the typical conventions of media products. However our production is a micro-budget production and so would not achieve deals with big production companies, instead would be distributed via Youtube & other social medias such as blogger.
Other companies that distribute lower-budget end productions such as 'Submarine' are of the likes of Warp Films, Film 4 and Studio Canal, these are the kind of companies that distribute on a lower level for more niche audiences and films made with a budget in the low thousands by independent UK companies.
The companies that would be for used for distribution of higher budget end productions are generally from the major 5 Hollywood Studios such as Universal and Warner Bros. If we were a bigger independent UK company we would have made negotiations and deals with these production companies for marketing and distribution on a wider scale.
QUESTION FOUR: WHO WOULD BE THE AUDIENCE FOR YOUR MEDIA PRODUCT? Our target audience included these groups;
Due to initial research in the planning of our production we were able to identify the social groups in the UK that would fit our genre and the type of production we have created, the two most significant social groups that would be a suitable audience for our media product are leading edge and alternative.
Our target audience age is generally towards ages 15-21 which suitably fits the audience that is most likely to watch our production as they are the age group who use the internet and social media sites the most. For example, social media sites such as YouTube and Blogger can be used by this age group to upload, share and comment on videos - suitable for our production piece.
